The Bay Area neighborhood of Corpus Christi is a little slice of heaven that runs alongside the Corpus Christi Bay. It stretches from Highway 358 into town, along the length of Ocean Drive, and down Ennis Joslin Road to South Padre Island Drive.
It’s home to about 41K residents, primarily middle-class families or empty-nesters with grandchildren who come to visit.
People don’t move away too often once they’ve settled in the Corpus Christi Bay Area. Parts of Bay Area such as Lamar Park, Morningside, South Shores are all sought-after subdivisions in this part of town. There are always opportunities to snap up a gem and renovate or completely rebuild as some of the older properties come on the market.

It’s worth driving around to get a feel for the various subdivisions, styles of homes and local businesses.
